If you run dump trailers, we want your number

We move aggregate every week and we are only as good as the trucks we can put on a job. If you have capacity, tell us where you sit and what you pull.

Working with us

Straightforward, and we mean it

  • Steady aggregate freight, not one load and silence for a month
  • Loads described honestly, including the ground you will be backing onto
  • Access problems flagged before you are dispatched, not after you are stuck
  • Paperwork kept simple and tickets reconciled promptly
  • Direct line to the person who booked you

What we need from you

  • Active operating authority and a current USDOT number
  • Certificate of insurance naming us, at the limits the shipper requires
  • W-9 on file before the first settlement
  • Working phone, and someone who answers it

Requirements can vary by shipper and by job. We will tell you exactly what a specific load needs when we book it.

Dump trailers on a highway haul
How onboarding works

Five steps, then you are hauling

One packet, one certificate from your agent, and you are on the dispatch list. Nothing here should surprise anyone who has pulled for a broker before.

STEP 01

Apply

Send the form below. Tell us where you sit, what you pull and where you like to run. We call you back and talk lanes.

STEP 02

Packet

We send you the subhauler packet. You fill it out once. Most of it is copies of paperwork you already carry.

STEP 03

Insurance on file

Your agent sends us the certificate with the endorsements listed below. We keep it on file and watch the renewal date so you do not have to remind us.

STEP 04

First haul

You get dispatched with the material, the ground and the access spelled out before you roll. No guessing at the gate.

STEP 05

Weekly settlements

Every ticket you turn in lands on a weekly settlement statement, and the money follows by direct deposit.

The packet

What is in it, in plain English

Seven documents. If your paperwork is in order you can knock the whole thing out in one sitting. Here is each piece and why we ask for it.

Subhauler onboarding packet, document checklist
DocumentWhat it is
01  W-9 One page tax form with your legal name and EIN or SSN. It is how we report what we pay you, so the name has to match your bank account.
02  Subhauler agreement The working agreement between your operation and ours, including the pay percentage you haul at. Read it, ask questions, then sign it.
03  Certificate of insurance Comes from your insurance agent, not from you, and it must name Donithan Logistics, LLC as additional insured. The full requirements are in the table below.
04  CDL A legible copy of the current CDL for every driver who will pull our loads.
05  Registrations Current registration for each truck and trailer you will run for us, so what shows up on site matches what is on file.
06  ACH form Your bank routing and account details, with a voided check or a bank letter. This is where your settlement money goes.
07  Policies Our safety and operating policies, acknowledged and signed. Short, and written for people who work around loaders and live traffic.

Missing a piece? Send what you have with the form below and we will walk the rest with you on the phone.

Insurance requirements

What your certificate has to show

Give this table to your insurance agent. It is everything the certificate needs before you can be dispatched.

Certificate of insurance, minimum requirements
CoverageRequirementNotes
Auto liability $1,000,000 CSL Combined single limit, covering every unit you run for us.
Cargo Current policy Limits sized to the loads you haul. Some shippers set their own minimum and we will tell you when one does.
General liability Current policy Covers work at pits, plants and job sites off the truck.
Workers comp or occupational accident One or the other, current Which one applies depends on how your operation is set up. Your agent will know.
Endorsements Additional insured, waiver of subrogation Both in favor of Donithan Logistics, LLC, shown on the certificate.

Certificates come to us directly from your agent. Renewals work the same way, and we track the dates so a lapsed certificate never surprises either of us on a job.

How you get paid

Percent of gross, settled weekly

No load boards, no factoring games, no waiting on somebody else's customer to pay first.

% of gross
You haul at the percentage set in your agreement, applied to each load's gross. It is agreed before you turn a wheel.
Weekly
A settlement statement every week, listing every ticket, the gross, your percentage and the total, line by line.
Direct deposit
The settlement total goes straight to the account on your ACH form. No paper checks chasing you down the highway.

Your percentage is set in the subhauler agreement, and every settlement statement shows exactly how the number was reached.

Next step

Send us the line item.
We will price the material and the freight.

Tell us what material you need, the estimated tonnage, the delivery location, and when you need it on-site. If you only have a plan sheet or project specifications, send them to us. We’ll review the requirements, identify the correct material, and verify that it meets the required quality-control standards before delivery.

Ready to talk? Tell us the job and the owner will get back to you.
