Sourcing, trucking, rail and the coordination that ties them together
Most jobs need two of these and get quoted by three different companies who each blame the other when the schedule slips. We would rather own the whole line item.
What we do
Aggregate Material Sourcing
We find the material, at the pit that prices it best, that actually meets your spec.
- Quarry, pit and recycle yard sourcing across the United States
- Spec matching against plans, geotech reports and TxDOT item numbers
- Multiple pit quotes on the same line item so you can see the spread
- Gradation, PI and test data pulled before the first truck rolls
- Alternate material recommendations when the specified product is priced badly or is not local

Trucking & Delivery
Reliable delivery starts with the right equipment, a practical schedule, and a clear understanding of the jobsite. Donithan Logistics coordinates every load to keep materials arriving safely and crews working without interruption.
- Dump trucks, including tri-axle, quad-axle, and quint-axle configurations
- End dump and belly dump trailers
- Delivered material pricing by the ton or cubic yard
- Freight-only service for materials purchased from another supplier
- Coordinated multi-truck rotations for high-volume placements
- Site-to-site transfers, stockpile relocation, and material haul-off
- Jobsite access review to ensure the right equipment is dispatched from the first load

Rail Logistics & Transloading
For high-volume projects, rail can provide a more efficient and cost-effective alternative to long-distance trucking. Donithan Logistics evaluates both options and shows you where rail makes financial and operational sense.
- Direct railcar delivery to rail-served plants, terminals, and industrial spurs
- Transload coordination from railcar to truck for final-mile delivery
- Unit-train and multi-car programs for sustained, high-volume demand
- Rail programs for base, fill, sand, crushed stone, and other bulk aggregate materials
- Clear comparison of rail-landed costs versus all-truck delivery before you commit

Transportation Coordination
One point of contact when schedules change, weather causes delays, or material availability shifts. Donithan Logistics coordinates suppliers, carriers, and deliveries to keep your project moving.
- One dedicated contact across every pit, quarry, and carrier serving your project
- Delivery schedules built around your placement rate and jobsite requirements
- Load-ticket reconciliation to confirm you are billed only for the quantities received
- Backup sourcing to maintain material availability and prevent disruptions
- Weekly look-ahead planning for long-term and high-volume projects

From the call to the last ticket
- You send the line item. Material, tonnage, delivery address, date. A plan sheet works just as well.
- We price the material and the freight. Usually against more than one pit, so you can see the spread rather than a single take it or leave it number.
- We check the access before we dispatch. Ground conditions, overhead lines, turning room, gate hours. This is where jobs go wrong and it costs nothing to ask.
- Trucks roll on your schedule. One delivery, or a rotation timed to your placement rate so the crew is never standing around.
- Tickets get reconciled. You are billed for the tons you received, not the tons that left the pit.
