Nothing here is an offer or a quote
The material descriptions, specification references, densities, payload figures, calculator results and distance guidance on this site are provided for general information and planning. They are not an offer to sell, a quotation, or a warranty that any particular material is available, in stock, or suitable for your project.
A price becomes a quote only when we send it to you in writing for a defined material, quantity, delivery location and time frame. Quotes are valid only for the period stated on them.
Specifications are yours to confirm
Spec references such as TxDOT item numbers, ASTM designations and AREMA gradations are given as a common shorthand used in the industry. Specifications change, and the controlling document for your project is always your own plans, project specifications and geotechnical report. You are responsible for confirming that a material meets your project requirements before you order it.
Calculators are estimates
The calculators on this site use typical loose densities and typical legal payloads. Actual material density varies with source, gradation and moisture, and actual payloads vary with axle configuration, permits and equipment. Results are planning estimates only. Do not use them as the sole basis for a purchase, a bid or a placement quantity.
Using this website
You may use this site for legitimate business purposes. You may not use it to submit false information, to attempt to gain unauthorised access, to interfere with its operation, or to collect information about it or its users by automated means without our permission.
Information you send us
Information you submit through the forms on this site is handled as described in our privacy notice. Do not send us anything confidential, privileged or sensitive through this website. Web forms travel by email and are not a secure channel.
